Santa Fe residents enjoy a seemingly endless wellspring of amazing places to eat, culture to enjoy and nature to explore. But what would you do if you only had 24 hours in The City Different? We asked Santa Fe Properties' associate brokers to boil it down to the perfect Santa Fe day.  

 

 

Shop Eldorado’s Friday night Farmers Market, and then whisk away to the nearby Galisteo Basin Preserve to view the dazzling star-studded night skies with friends.

Breakfast at Tia Sophia’s followed by a stroll downtown to view the jewelry for sale outside of The Plaza at Palace of the Governors. Then on to lunch at Tomasita’s for chicken enchiladas Christmas, with an afternoon soaking at Ten Thousand Waves before catching a show at The Lensic.

Visiting Tent Rocks National Monument is an absolutely wonderful experience. The drive alone from Santa Fe is amazingly beautiful!

Get all dressed up and hit downtown to visit all the dynamic stores and galleries. The owners/store keepers love chatting it up with people and it’s a great way to get up-to-speed with how wonderful it is here in Santa Fe.

For nature-lovers, hiking The Aspen Vista Trail on the way to the ski basin is a peaceful experience. A gentle sloped climb with views galore, the trail’s a prime spot to encounter wildlife and be up in nature where everything is tranquil.

Next, cruise up The High Road to the Village of Truchas for light refreshments at Sugar Nymphs, then continue on to Taos to visit the pueblo and spend some time in the mountains. Make sure to stop at Buffalo Thunder on the way back for some gaming action and spa treatments.
