Born and raised in Santa Fe, Tommy‘s true passion is real estate. His life experiences come together to help him best serve all Santafesinos y norteños. One of nine children to Eloy and Irene Trujillo, Tommy is the proud father of Aubrey, Marcus and Keelan. Working in education for 12 years, Tommy earned Highly Effective status. He instructed Santa Fe teachers how to better incorporate technology into their classrooms. A Budget Analyst/Financial Manager with the NM National Guard, Tommy specialized in real estate lease agreements, facilities management and financial investments. As a Congressional Field Representative under US Senator Pete V. Domenici, he worked directly with mayors, city managers, county commissioners, and most importantly, the public. He amassed over 600 clients with Legacy Financial Group, working as a financial planner. Having earned an athletic scholarship to Adams State University, Tommy earned bachelor degrees in both Finance and Marketing. He is Northern NM’s first ever NCAA All-American wrestler. Twice a college All American, Tommy was also a member of Santa Fe High’s famous ‘Blue Thunder’ Demon football team, earning Special Teams’ Player of the Year. He also was on the Rio Rancho High coaching staff for the 6th ranked team in the nation. Tommy was later the head coach at both Santa Fe HS and at St. Michaels HS. Tommy portrayed Don Diego De Vargas for the 1999 Fiestas de Santa Fe. He worked for over a decade as a City of Santa Fe Recreation Coordinator, a long-time member of Search for Christian Maturity, St. Anne’s Youth Movement, and the choir at San Ysidro Parish. He also frequently performs as the mascot for his children’s elementary school.
