Old Man Gloom also known as Zozobra was created by Will Shuster in 1920 is a 50 foot high marionette that is burned to the ground. To tourists this may sounds crazy but locals celebrate bruning their gloom and starting over the night of Zozobra. Made by the Kiwanis Club every year Zozobra is stuffed with paper entries from the public of things they want to burn or forget about. It is an easy way to clear the gloom out of your life!
